Circle’s Euro Graphic Board is a true Graphic Board. Euro board has excellent rigidity while remaining lightweight. The short fiber used in production also gives this board consistent flatness and a smooth finish. These properties make it great for your application.
Our Brown Bear HD Board gives all the consistency and performance of the Brown Bear grade in a High Density version. This means Brown Bear HD meets all NASTA specifications for textbooks and has excellent smoothness and stiffness characteristics. Circle’s Wet Lap Binders Board is a completely homogenous High Density cover board that meets all NASTA specifications for textbooks and all other book manufacturing. Wet Lap Binders Board is strong with superior lay flat and is excellent for traditional Library or Edition Binding. If your book requires the strength and quality of a traditional binding, Wet Lap Binders Board is the choice.
Circle is one of the largest independent converters of recycled Chipboard in North America. Of all the materials we convert, Chipboard is by far the largest raw material substrate that passes through our machines. One cornerstone of Circle success has been our ability to consistently produce and package the cleanest, most precisely cut chipboard pads in the industry. Whether used as a stiffener piece in envelopes, divider between cans, calendar backing or any specialty application, Circle can supply the right chipboard for your application.
Circle’s ability to create Pasted Chipboard allows our customers to create unique packaging solutions for their applications. Heavy caliper chipboard is a great “Green” alternative to using wood or other materials and Circle can produce board as heavy as your application requires. We can also produce Cross Grain sheets that provide excellent stiffness in each direction of the sheet.
Heavy caliper Die Cut Chipboard is one of the things that set Circle apart from most other paper converters. Not only can we create virtually any caliper on our Sheet pasting line but we also have the necessary equipment and expertise to convert those sheets to meet our customers’ unique applications. We have two 500 Ton press vertical stroke Die Cutters that allow us to convert board up to .360 pt. and create products for a variety of industries. Our equipment holds excellent tolerances and specializes in accurate die cutting of heavy caliper board. Our Die Cut Chipboard is used for Internal/External packaging, custom film and roll tier sheets, furniture applications and much more.
Circle Lite board is Circle’s own animal. The unique construction of corrugated medium over chipboard liners provides great strength, rigidity, durability, and handleability. Circle’s ability to vary both the fluting and the facing material gives endless combinations to find the right protection for roll or your packaging. Add in the ability for water holdout to prevent moisture transfer. Circle Lite is second to none for packaging.
Circle is an independent leader for rotary slit board. Our rotary slitting operation is the most accurate in the industry producing panels as small as 4″ and as large needed. The machines run calipers ranging from .055 pt. to .150 pt. and it is the most accurate way to convert board with tolerances held on squareness to .00075″. We ensure these tolerances are maintained by visually inspecting and checking each stack of board for dimension and squareness.

Circle’s round cornering equipment gives clean accurate round edges to the panels we produce. Typically used in 3-ring binders for vinyl sealed or laminated covers our round corner board is held to the same high quality standards as our other board products. Any of our board grades can have a round corner finish for any application.
Circle’s Grooving capability goes beyond the industry standard “unitized board” or “routed board” and produces a product with a higher level of quality and performance. Our “V” groove technology is used in specialty packaging applications by companies that want a sharp edge to promote their brand and separate themselves from the crowd. Circle also has the capability to produce a wider “Flat Bottom” groove that can be used for products that may require a softer look. Our unique process produces the cleanest and deepest groove available for maximum flexibility, sharp or soft looking edge.

Circle produces over 1 million chipboard pads a day! Our cut to size chipboard pads are the cleanest in the industry and our cutting methods produce the most accurate and square chipboard pads possible. With up to an 85” cutting blade there are very few jobs that Circle can’t handle on our trimmers.
Circle has die cutters to meet the needs of many applications. Our innovative die cutting systems have the capability to convert a range of materials from wood, steel, leather, fabric, rubber, paper and more. Machines have large beds that utilize a die up to 75” x 84” to accommodate almost any job. The nature of our machines combined with excellent die making means our tolerances meet or exceed most industry standards.
